Privacy policy
Plain English: what we collect on this website, why, and what we do with it.
Effective date: October 20, 2026
This policy covers 85westmgt.com, the website of 85 West Management Services, LLC ("85 West," "we," "us"). It explains what information we collect through this website and how we use it.
What we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us through the forms on this site:
- Owner inquiry form: your name, email, phone number, property address, number of units, how the property is managed today, and anything else you write in.
- Home buyer form: your name, email, phone number, where you are in the buying process, your timeline, areas you're interested in, and anything else you write in.
We don't use advertising trackers, and this site doesn't set its own cookies.
How we use it
We use what you send us to respond to you and to provide the property management or real estate services you ask about. That's it.
We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Who else handles it
- Our website host (Netlify) receives form submissions and delivers them to our email.
- Our email provider (Google Workspace) stores the messages we receive.
- Google Fonts delivers the fonts on this site, which means your browser connects to Google's servers when a page loads.
These providers handle data under their own privacy policies.
Rentals, resident, and owner portals
Rental listings, applications, the resident portal, and the owner portal are run by Buildium, our property management software. When you use those, Buildium's privacy policy applies. Information you share there, like a rental application, is used to process your application or manage your lease or property.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry information as long as we need it to respond and to keep a record of our conversations with you. If you'd like us to delete your information, just ask.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@85westmgt.com or call (616) 209-8508.
Children
This site isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the effective date above.
